Accessibility.
We want this site to work for every visitor, including people using a keyboard, a screen reader, or a browser zoomed in past 100%. Here's what that commitment means in practice, plainly stated.
1 · Our commitment
An accessible site for all visitors.
Everholt & Co. is committed to an accessible website for all visitors, including people with disabilities. We build this site with accessible, standard web practices and keep improving it as we find gaps — this is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checkbox.
2 · What it means in practice
The practices we build to.
Semantic HTML
Headings, landmarks, and page structure are marked up so assistive technology can navigate the page in a sensible order, not just read a wall of text.
Keyboard navigation
Links, buttons, form fields, and interactive elements like the FAQ accordions are reachable and operable from a keyboard alone, with a visible focus state and a skip-to-content link on every page.
Color contrast
Text and interactive elements are checked for sufficient contrast against their background, and information is never conveyed by color alone.
Descriptive alt text
Illustrations and diagrams carry a meaningful description for anyone who can't see them, not a filename or a blank tag.
We aim for these practices sitewide, on every page we publish. We don't claim certified conformance to a specific accessibility standard — we can't verify that without a third-party audit — but closing the gap toward one is the direction we build in.
3 · Tell us what doesn't work
We want to know, and we'll act on it.
If you experience any difficulty accessing this site, email [email protected] and we'll address it. Let us know the page and what happened — the browser or assistive technology you were using is helpful too, if you have it handy — and we'll get back to you.
